Hello from Oregon USA!
It's nice to "meet" you!
Thank you for visiting my About the Artist page!
I am professional, award winning reborn doll artist Debbie Henshaw. I have been creating life~like reborn dolls from my heart to yours since February 2005. I've received many awards, the honorary title of "Master Artist" by my peers as well as the public, and have had many articles in doll magazines. Creating reborn dolls and teaching the art of reborning is my full time passion. I am honored to have the title of "Master Artist" and realize that the reborn art is always something to strive deeper into, looking for ways to make the next baby even more life-like than the last.
I am so glad you could stop by for a visit! Please let me tell you about my passion for high quality collectible baby dolls, artist dolls and the very special life-like reborn baby dolls.I have loved baby dolls and babies my entire life. So much so that I have dreamed of having a doll collection and a special room just for my dolls since I was 14 years old.Little did I know about the wonderful art of reborn baby dolls! I discovered this art while helping my husband search Ebay for a new boy baby doll for me for Christmas. I was entranced by the beauty and realism that reborning brought to the already beautiful Dolls by Berenguer and the Ashton Drake dolls.I watched this art evolve for a little over two years... and I became really excited about reborn baby dolls! Then, in February 2005, They Never Grow Up Nursery was established. I love this name because it gets to the heart of what we wish we could have; that our sweet little babies will stay babies forever! But they do grow up and we are left with just the wonderful memories of their infancy. This is good, but it is hard to snuggle and gently rock memories. Reborn babies capture those comforting moments and remind us of our little ones.
Since I began reborning, I have sent reborns to all corners of the world and my personal collection has expanded to over 70 dolls! These dolls consist of manufactured collectors dolls, reborn baby dolls made by myself and other wonderful reborn artists, silicone baby dolls, porcelain baby dolls, resin baby dolls and One-of-a-Kind clay baby dolls. My dolls range in size from as tiny as one inch to 32 inches! I love each and every one of them and am very blessed to have to opportunity to collect them.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit here. Be sure to visit all the nooks and crannies of my web site..and feel free to let me know what you think. I value the opinions of others as I believe it helps me to strive for the very best reborns available. I am happy to share what I have learned to those who will contact me. Feel free to access the Contact Page and do visit the Classes and Show page to find out where I will teach and show next. Did I mention that I LOVE teaching the reborn art? I've traveled the United States to teach and have goals to teach in other countries when time and resources provide. I am willing to travel just about anywhere in the US to teach a class of 8-10 students; international visits will need to have at least 12 students. If you are visiting my website today and desire that I come to your area to teach, please simply contact me.
